Custom 112 Hats is a Battle Born Clothing brand. We decorate the Richardson 112, one of the most-ordered trucker caps in the USA, plus its relatives (115, 110, 168, 312, 511, 112FP, camo 112P/112PFP) and Richardson's 256 Umpqua and 258 rope caps. Richardson makes the blank; we put your logo on it. Our shop in Yerington, Nevada has made laser-engraved leather patches since 2020 on an OMTech 80-watt CO2 laser and runs two commercial embroidery heads with Rapos thread. We are an authorized decorator for Carhartt, Nike and OGIO. Every job gets a digital proof, a 28-day standard turnaround from proof approval, and a free redo if we make the error. A 112 with a leather patch runs $21.00 each at 24 pieces and $18.50 each at 144, blank included.

Details →Bulk Richardson 112 orders for companies, crews and brands
Most of our 112 work is 48 to 300 caps for a company, crew or brand that already knows the style. You pick the color combo from Richardson's 100+ options, send a logo, and we return a proof with the stitch count or patch shape. Pricing is per cap, blank included, with breaks at 24, 48, 72, 96, 120 and 144 pieces. See the full table on the pricing page.
Corporate and crew caps (48 to 144+)
Trucking fleets, oilfield crews, contractors and dealerships order 112s for drivers, techs and office staff. A 144-piece order of embroidered 112s is $18.50 each all-in plus one $18.99 digitizing fee. Leather patch at the same quantity is also $18.50 each with no digitizing fee. Mixed colors in one order are fine as long as the logo stays the same.
Resale caps for breweries, outfitters and retail brands
If the cap is going on a shelf, the patch or stitch quality has to hold up next to national brands. We use Rapos thread, true-to-logo digitizing and full-grain leather patches cut and engraved in-house. Richardson 112 blanks retail well because customers already recognize the shape.
Agency and reseller runs
Promo agencies and screen printers without an embroidery head send us 112 and rope cap runs under their own label. We can ship to your customer's address on request and keep your client's artwork on file for reorders.
Small runs and first orders (12 to 47 caps)
There is no hard minimum on embroidery or leather patch. A 12-cap test run of embroidered 112s is $21.50 each plus digitizing; 24 caps drop to $20.50. Leather patch at 24 is $21.00 each. Small runs get the same proof, the same thread and the same 28-day turnaround as a 300-piece order.
Event, team and family runs
Car clubs, race teams, hunting camps and fundraisers usually land at 24 to 47 caps. Pick one 112 color combo and one logo to stay in the lowest price tier, or split colors at no extra charge.
Samples before a big order
Want to see your patch on a 112 before committing to 144? Order 12 at the 12-23 price. When the big order follows, your digitizing or patch file is already done.
Rope caps: Richardson 256 Umpqua and 258
Rope caps are the fastest-growing part of our hat work. The Richardson 258 is a structured five-panel rope cap with a snapback; the 256 Umpqua adds a mesh back. Both take a leather patch or flat embroidery on the front panel above the rope. Blank cost on rope caps is quoted per job; decoration pricing is the same matrix as the 112.
What decorates well on a rope cap
The front panel sits above the rope, so artwork wants to be wider than it is tall. A 2.25 in by 1.5 in leather patch or a 3 in wide embroidered logo fits cleanly. Taller logos crowd the rope.
Decoration options on a 112
Flat embroidery, 3D puff embroidery, laser-engraved leather patch (glued or sewn), side-hit embroidery and back arch text. Each method has its own page under decoration. If you are deciding between stitch and leather, read embroidery vs leather patch on a 112.
Flat embroidery
Up to 6,000 stitches on the front panel is $7.00 per cap at 24-47 and $5.00 at 144+. One-time digitizing is $18.99. Over 6,000 stitches is quoted per design.
Leather patch
Laser-engraved full-grain leather, cut to your shape, bonded with our heat process on a two-platen hat press. $7.50 per cap at 24-47, $5.00 at 144+, no digitizing fee. Sewn-on is $1 more per cap.
Side hits and back arch
A small second logo on the left or right side panel, or arched text across the back above the snapback, is quoted per job. Keep side hits under about 2 in wide.

Yes, at no charge, as long as the logo stays the same. Tier pricing is by total quantity per style.
