What moves the number
Up
- Embroidery over 6,000 stitches: quoted per design. Big solid fills are the usual cause.
- 3D puff: quoted per design.
- Side hit or back arch: a second location, quoted per job, plus $18.99 digitizing for that design.
- Sewn patch edge: +$1.00 per cap.
- Camo 112P/112PFP, 112XL, 112Y, or any non-112 Richardson style: blank quoted per job instead of $13.50.
- Rush: quoted per job.
Down
- Reorders: no digitizing again.
- Crossing a tier: 47 caps cost more per cap than 48. If you are at 44, order 48.
- Mixing colors in one style: counts toward one tier at no charge.
The in-between tiers
Breaks are every 24: 12-23, 24-47, 48-71, 72-95, 96-119, 120-143, 144+. A 72-cap patch order is $20.00 each; 96 is $19.50; 120 is $19.00. The full table is on the pricing page.
Rope caps and other Richardson styles
The decoration column is the same for the 258 and 256 rope caps, the 115, 168, 312, 511, 112FP and camo 112PFP. Only the blank changes, and we quote that per job because supplier cost moves by style and color. In practice most of these land within a few dollars of the 112, so the table above is a fair planning number until the quote arrives. A 48-cap patch order of 258 rope caps, for example, carries the same $7.00 per cap patch charge as a 112.
A typical first order
A brewery ordering its first merch run usually lands at 48 patch caps split across two color combos: 48 x $20.50 = $984.00, no setup fee. Sold at $32 each that returns $1,536 gross. The reorder at 144 drops to $18.50 and the same patch file is reused. A contractor ordering crew caps usually lands at 48 embroidered: 48 x $20.00 + $18.99 = $978.99, and every reorder after that skips the digitizing.
Customer-supplied 112s
If you already own the blanks, you pay the decoration column only plus $2.00 per cap handling. 48 supplied caps with a leather patch: 48 x ($7.00 + $2.00) = $432.00. We allow for about 4 percent spoilage on supplied goods, aim for zero, and cannot replace caps we did not buy.

Is freight included?
No. Freight is quoted with the order based on carton count and destination. We ship nationwide from Yerington, Nevada.
Is there sales tax?
Nevada sales tax applies to Nevada deliveries unless you provide a resale or exemption certificate.
Can I get a quote for 300 or 500?
Yes. Everything 144 and up is the 144+ tier for decoration, so 300 patch 112s are $18.50 each. Ask on the quote form and we confirm blank stock at that volume.
